Thank You, Mary, for your “Fiat” for life!
For someone like me who can experience “Time Blindness” there is consolation in the hope of Heaven, where there is no time!
So, when I miss (there are so many!) or forget the date and times of certain beautiful, and extraordinary celebrations, like yesterday’s Feast of the Annunciation, when the Angel Gabriel announced to the Blessed Virgin Mary that she would miraculously conceive a son and call him Jesus (Luke 1 26~32), I could recall the words of a Priest/Friend, who more than once said to me, “Don’t worry, you have Eternity!”. Then and again, I will be glad for Mary’s “Let it be.” and rejoice in the thought of that being the beginning time of Jesus’ earthly existence!
