Who is the artist of this painting From 1571? It is unknown! What is known is the account of the Battle of Lepanto that occurred this same year where the Feast Day and miraculous VICTORY, attributed to of Our Lady of the Rosary, was just celebrated. It is also a warning sign that we’ve heard through 1the visions from Sr. Agnes of Our Lady of Akita recently! STAY ALERT!!…
LYRICS from FOR A DANCER
“Keep a fire burning in your eye,
pay attention to the open sky,
you never know what will be coming down…”
~ Jackson Browne
For someone like me who can experience “Time Blindness” there is consolation in the hope of Heaven, where there is no time!
So, when I miss (there are so many!) or forget the date and times of certain beautiful, and extraordinary celebrations, like yesterday’s Feast of the Annunciation, when the Angel Gabriel announced to the Blessed Virgin Mary that she would miraculously conceive a son and call him Jesus (Luke 1 26~32), I could recall the words of a Priest/Friend, who more than once said to me, “Don’t worry, you have Eternity!”. Then and again, I will be glad for Mary’s “Let it be.” and rejoice in the thought of that being the beginning time of Jesus’ earthly existence!
